Phil's work with Sonosphere has been shortlisted for another award - this time at the AV Awards 2022
Sonosphere's work in the spatial audio arena continues to be recognised by the UK industry media. The AV Awards have focussed their coverage of the UK 5G Festival on the live audio mix which was delivered in real time across three venues 60 miles apart utilising the network provided by O2/Virgin Media.
The audio sources came from Metropolis Studios in London, The O2 Blueroom and Brighton Dome. All stems were delivered to Phil who mixed on a DiGiCo Q338 console and then delivered via Sonosphere's custom DAW machine into the Dolby Atmos RMU @ Metropolis Studios.
The output mix was delivered simultaneously across the three sites in various formats including Binaural, First Order Ambisonics, Dolby 7.1 and Dolby 7.1.4.
